    Icon10 Work on the G

Well its been snowing alot here in Pittsburgh so that means for me its time to hit the garage and work on the G

Finished up my GPS mount and power outlets

Decided to make the cupholders glow

Got some sanding done on the dash... still a ton more to do, but that will have to wait till I get back from Vegas.

looks good. I would put all the gauges etc in the middle hump when you go turbo or anything else.

Only sonata f5m42 swapped. N/A build in motion.

Nice work man, I'm excited to see the end result.

I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this.

Are those tweeter pods from the door on the dash?

  11. #11
They are tweeter pods, just did not feel like mounting them on the door again. Had a set mounted on the door sails and it was a poor location.

I give you props for all your fiberglass work, I built my sub boxes out of that and I know how much it can suck. Can't wait to see the finished product. are you going to go with the stock tan?

It is actually gonna be primarily the gold that surrounds my gear selector with a stripe of the aluminum, and two thin black stripes seperating the two

How hard was it to get yours out? Because I've got this bigass crack in mine that is covered up by one of those god awful dashmat things.

Nice work so far, but, a bit overkill, there are head units with sirus control built-in, and by my experience you get a more natural sound with the tweeters close to your mids; if they are secondary highs, they would be fine. just my two cents.

The same thing happened to the one that is in my car till I get this one finished. Went to the junkyard and spent about 20 minutes taking the dash out of one there to work on. You just need to know where all the screws/bolts are and its a fairly easy job.
