Hmmm...how's the interior drone? This is key for me, the lady wants a meaner sound (my car is to blame. ) but doesn't want to be drowned out by exhaust tone.

Also, link plz? Surfing from teh crackberry, takes forever to search.

its not too bad, my little bro rode with me, its kinda hard to talk at interstate speeds, but I also removed the silencer, with the silencer in, has the same tone, but about 1/3 less noisey in the back. Im pretty sure the trunk amps it, but just turn up the subs then lol

    Some more questions...

What's the exhaust pipe size for the 4G64 Galants?

What's a good alternative to the AEM short ram intake? Almost $200 for a new short ram is asinine.

Does Eibach make lowering springs for the 8G? Also, what about KYB AGX struts?

Thanks in advance from your fellow n00blet.

I think stock is around 2 2.25, not to sure though. its deff not 2.5.

If you can wait about a week, I'm getting ready to sell my AEM CAI/SRI, just need it for about another week lol

Yes Eibach does make springs that fit the 8g, but you might have to buy them for the 3G eclipse, KYB and Eibach is what I'm struting on right now lol

I'm piecing together an exhaust setup for the Galant currently, gonna keep the existing pipe size to keep down rasp. Just need to decide on a muffler, and find the right length glasspack.

    How much for the intake?

So, the struts and springs for the 3rd gen Eclipses fit Galants? Or is modification neccessary?

Digging up an old thread, I know. But for my question, I didn't want to make a new thread.

V6 guys, especially my 6G74 guys, how hard/easy/time consuming/quick was it to get to your back bank's valve cover to change the valve cover seals and spark plug seals, mines are leaking on the Diamante and I wanna tackle it this weekend. My sister's 3.3L V6 in her old minivan was cake, but that plenum had nowhere near the number of sensors and wires as the 74's, plus the throttle body didn't have a coolant line. Any insight as to what I'm about to get into would be appreciated.

Not true my friend. I have a 3 inch version of the Spectre adapter and filter on my car as we speak. Bought the filter from Autozone and the adapter from AdvanceAuto.

*EDIT* What other manufacturer shifters fit for the 8g auto and also the 3g manual? Has anyone tried any besides Acura and had success?

So question is what to do about a flat spot on a tire? I had to brake really hard the other day and ended up skidding and smoking the tires. Now I have two flat spots on my two front tires, which is causing my front end to feel lumpy. Had it verified at a local tire shop...
Is there anything I can do to fix this without having to buy new tires???

@ ivory_g to be honest if u smoked the tires on that one spot causing it to be uneven, then u really have no choice but to get new tires, nothing u can do can even out the tire

I got a Galant Wagon, and i know you guys dont have them, but i will ask here anyway. The wagon got no cuout on the rear bumper for exhaust, the exhaust is just pointed downwords behind the bumper. But i want to make a cutout and get a new exhaust system. How do you reckon is the best way to do this mod?

Seriously? Bcz I was wondering if I was able to smoke the tires by burning out if it would even out the tires or not... Are you sure Lysol will let me smoke the tires tho? What kind of Lysol?
