Radio and Lights (Inside) arent working

Alright, so heres the deal. Own a 2002 ES GALANT. It came with an Aftermarket Radio which was stolen a few yrs back. It was since then replaced by an alpine radio. The Alpine has now stopped working (The face anyway) and decided to put a Pioneer Radio in it for the time being. Problem is this, when it was stolen (or it may have been that way on the first install..not sure), the wire harness from the car was cut. I got the Alpine professsionally installed and it worked fine. I figure since this was already done before it should be an easy swap. Wrong. Installed radio and it doesn't turn on. to top it off, the lights in the car don't work. What could be issue?

Ill check fuses again in the morning...didn't see any on first look. Now, could this have been caused my the ground being placed on the metal brackets attached to radio? If so, where is the best place to have it grounded?

There is plenty of metal supports behind the radio for a good ground. You could even use the hole in the back where the factory bracket mounts.

Is this for the dome lights? I accidentally connected the wrong wires from my led board today and it sparked and blew the fuse I think.. And I'm also trying to install a JVC KD-R310 but it won't even power on.. Could this be the issue? I don't know.. The stock radio will turn on but the JVC won't even power up.

If you have them they will automatically ground out upon monting it.
