    if it doesn't work go and get a reverse drill bit and get that bolt out. and be done with the worry.

    Well I cranked today and let her get to operating temp and no leaks.

    well 265 miles later a small leak was detected! So I went to Northern Tools and bought a left handed drill bit. I hope this works because the screw extractor I used broke while I was hammering it into the bolt.

    Wow, that sounds like quite the adventure! Just wanted to drop you an FYI. My crankshaft position sensor got whacked by my dying balancer shaft belt and it doesn't just shut the ignition down, it also kills the fuel pump & the injectors. Even worse, it didn't turn on the malfunction lamp! I just presumed that the computer didn't have a code and did a LOT of diagnostics of the electronics (coming up empty everywhere) until I decided to get the code reader as as "what the hell" type of thing - there was my P0335!
