    Extended Exhaust studs

Where do you guys get them when installing a turbo manifold with another flange?

Whats the scoop MKO? these for your car?

I hated having stainless steel studs. they would snap just like fatigued old oem studs, and the nuts would back off all the time.
I always had the best luck with brand new OEM studs, oem washers, and oem copper locknuts. Factory ones are heat treated and made of an alloy thats designed for years of heat cycling. But they do fatigue over time.

my new turbo is so big it rubs against the water pipe. i need to double flange it so it clears the pipe

oh. I just dented my water pipe. easier and doesn't require unreliable studs or extra gaskets.

Seriously just used a ball peen and hit it a few times until it was dented enough to clear the compressor. Most dsm guys do that.

yeah was easy just took a few minutes. I can't remember if i put something extra behind the water pipe to keep it from moving. I'm pretty sure the mounting bracket is enough to keep the pipe from wiggling as you tap it.
