new to the site butt its been very helpful, thought i chime in on some topics to help out, got me a 2000 galant its at paint shop right now rdy to be picked up, just order new tail lights (old ones are cracked ) new fog lights lamps with an HID conversion kit, HID for the head lights both kits are 35w 8000k, pickd up new motor mounts (all three), new read bumper cover, axle back exhaust to start with, cold air intake (i got it from a friend who went turbo on his 3g v6 eclipes), inside is in excellent shape, gona have the windows tinted once it comes back from paint, pick up some pizos at the junk yard from a premeum sound package car(galant), gona go back and pull a set of rear disk brakes to swap out on it as well and i just did a complete top end rebuild with new head gasket, timing belt, intake gasket, water pump befor it went to paint, bought the car for real cheap with a blown head gasket the car runs great now. haha and i mean real cheap cant wait to get it home so i can add all my new goodies heres some pic of after and before in that order













the only thing im looking for is the gas door cant seem to find any at any junk yard at all either missing or destroyed

later down the rd ill be lowering the car butt for now ill be happy man to drive it and put my son in the back seat and not kill my back lol the saturn is not a family car at all butt great on gas i must say

Love the new paint job man. I'm glad she looks like new again. I think here you'll learn to go with Japanese parts when it comes to visual upgrades.

Nice wheels btw. They came on my car when I bought it back in 2006. I later found they were sold at pep-boys lol!

well when the car went to paint the lady was nagging me about the gas door and rear bumper, i called around for a bumper and gas door and only got the bumper for 70$, butt no door so i hit up the junk yard wed and i got no where on it,walked out in my pockets with the pizo and cover. hell i was surprised the junkyard had 8gs, the last time i went there was none, butt deff let me kno if u do find one, il gona go again next week to pull the rear disc setup and v6 TB. they are running a good deal where everything is 50% off
ill walk out of there with everything i need under 60$

thx bro i have been just recently cuz i wanted to do the rear disc swap and it lead me here (i kno how to use a forum lol )(worked on alot of 3gs in the past)

lol... the search thing is more for people who just ask questions and start new topics all the time. Just something we have to cover for newbies.

thx bro well all my parts came in today motor mounts, new fog lamps, hid kit, my new keyless entry, and the good news is the car is officialy rdy to be picked up with its new rear bumper, gona tow it to the shop to use u lift to install everything

only thing im waiting on is the exhaust butt i have to run some test with my ultragauage to see what kind gas millage ill be getting, so i can get a before and after result
