    Greeting From Jakarta

    Hellooo

    Let me introduce my self.

My name Ersan, you can tell by my user id. I live in jakarta, Indonesia and I am the one of Galant lover out there. All of my life i ve been a Galant rider, start in 2003 when 7g galant was my first car.

In 2007 i bought a used 8G EA5A galant, a jdm galant. Now i convert my Galant into 8G EC5A Galant VR4 through engine swap process.

Now my 8G EA5A has the same spec with original jdm 8G EC5A Galant VR4. Its has 6A13TT engine, equiped with AWD and AYC system on board.

here's some pic of my 8G Galant before and after engine swap. enjoyyyy

Original look of my 8G EA5A when i first bought in on 2003, its year 2000 made, a CKD, completely knock down

    After EA5A to EC5A convertion

    Halfcut:

    the result:

I swap the front end into the facelift model. sell it the first one and buy the facelift model

All body part are mitsubishi original part. The new rims are : racinghart 17 inch 7 width ET 40, tyres yokohama aspect db 215/50zr 91w.

    Suggestion are welcome

Unfortunately this will not help a lot of us here. But to who it does, it's so worth it to post the tutorial.

Welcome to TGC! I love the work that has been done to your car and hope to see more where that came from.

By the way, I would die for some of the parts on that car!

Ho ho once again thanks again for + respond. unfortunately the job is not over yet, but i ran out of budget, classic :D. wife will be yell at me.

    The list is simple,
    - engine fine tuning $1000 at least
    - audio visual, in car entertainment $1000
    - leather seat $650
    - repaint the body $1200

well the most important is engine fine tuning job. I need at least greddy ultimate + avcr boost controller and innovate 02 wide band sensor. not to mention dyno testing.

honestly I am a bit disappoint with stock boost acceleration, running 0,5 bar or 8 psi I am afraid. when u run stock boost 0-100 km/h the acceleration a bit the same when you kick the 2500 cc n/a galant gas pedal the difference is you will reach the top speed much quicker and higher. the acceleration is very smooth. There is no take off aircraft g force sensation, but some says its just because the awd system ha ha.

Well I will run the 1,2 bar soon, wonder how much the sensation would be.

meanwhile i also looking for some part special sold for usdm galant like a door moulding written galant on it just like galante car. maybe u guys can help me later.

well thanks again for warm welcome
