    Need help...

So for once I'll be making a thread asking you guys for help. I dunno what to do.

My car won't idle at all. Give it gas, and it'll run just fine. Once I let off, the engine dies.

Checked all vacuum lines, IM, TB, and battery/alternator are relatively new.

TPS? I'm at loss guys. Thanks for your help!

Check that. Just the battery and alternator are new.

I swapped in the V6 TB a month and a half ago

    Recheck all your vacuum lines.

I recommend tracking each vacuum line one by one. You need to ensure that all are connected properly. You can also take the time to ensure that each hose is producing vacuum like it should be. So, again track each line, make sure they have vacuum, then go to the next step. On another note, does your cruise control work?

dead iac possibly. try adjusting the biss screw first, but unplug the iac
God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.

DO NOT TOUCH the biss screw! THis is PRESET at the factory and is never meant to be adjusted whatsoever. The idle speed is set within the ECU, if the car is not idling properly, adjusting this will not fix anything, nor will your car run correctly.

The IAC is in question, I assume you have swapped in the V6 IAC with the TB swap right?

Cruise works, tested that out on the highway just a little bit ago.

Yes I swapped over the V6 IAC and TPS with the V6 TB.

    Nope.

I'll let it sit overnight. If not, I'm heading to the junkyard in the morning

it seems to have all the symptoms of a bad iac.i would check the vacuum lines that connect to the throttle body to and make sure they are connected.

Stupid question. But have u tryed resetting the ECU? If u changed the throttlebody the "brain" in ur G, it needs to learn it over again.

Yeah I did that when I did the swap. It ran like crap until I did the reset.

Did u change the MAF sensor? I tryed a MAf sensor from the 2.4 GDi on my 2.0 and it didnt run well at all! Im not shure its gonna work with a V6 MAF since it has 2 more pistons.
Im guessing something between the airfilter and intake manifold. Vacum lines, airleak between MAF and manifold or the throttlebody itself isnt workin properly
