    muffler removal

Hey guys I've searched but couldnt find any threads how do I remove my muffler? Around the area where its supposed to be welded on after the resonator? But before you get passed the middle of the. Car? My connection isn't welded its rusted so can I just knock it off?

You can do anything YOU want to your cars exhaust system, but the question is why would you want to? That car needs to be meet sound ordinance laws.

Sounds like you want to work on the back section around the rear axel.
You can hack saw it off and buy one new with weld.

    or

You can unbolt the axel-back section using a socket and wrench and put this one on. It's not much but at least you are getting a new piping for it. $79 shipped

That looks similiar to the system I ordered for my G. It was a 2 1/2 cat back that I got on e-bay, and I got to agree with the sound, at idle it is deep and throttle and even at full throttle doesn't have that rice sound to it. Put the baffle in and it is almost as quiet as a factory exhaust.

I'll pay shipping for your muffler, as long as I'd be able to clamp it back onto my car
