Same engine... If it's 64 to 72, it's not easy.
Search, maybe?

If your going from the 64 to 72/74 I would say to look thru Deeznuts build thread other wise if you already have the 72 then there's really no point in swapping that out for the eclipse 72. If your going from the 72 to 74 & 5spd, your best bet is to look thru Beam's build thread...

There's already at least 2 swaps in this category in full detail with pictures, I recommend you take a look at them in the 8g section.
Here.
Beams: https://www.thegalantcenter.org/show...ight=6g74+swap
Deez (if it's for your I4): https://www.thegalantcenter.org/show...ight=6g74+swap
I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this.
Those are both 74 swaps. You have a 72.

Did you look thoroughly thru beam's thread? He went from 6G72 which is the motor in your galant to the 6G74 from the diamante...

go with the 6g75. There is not a whole lot of extra work involved with the swap. Plus it's good for an extra 30hp from the start

Id say if your going to do this swap I would go with the 6g75 swap which is the 9g engine with the 3.8l v6. Now be careful what you look for bc I understand the 9g Ralliart has a MIVAC engine and Im not sure you can use that so just go with the base model v6 engine. I believe thats more bang for a buck...goodluck man.
