    DC Sports Strut Bar

Will this fit my V6? I've seen conflicting reports, and it seems very very tight with the manifold right up to the hood. I've even saw somewhere on here the bar rests on the manifold. Thanks for any input.

Does anybody have any experience? I don't want a 150$ piece of metal lying around. And also I've seen a red and silver one (front page of TGC) and it looks pretty sweet, it that for the 8G, if so.. Where??! Thanks!

You can also look for 00-05 eclipse STBs. Engine size should not matter.

I got mine from here http://www.wesellcarparts.com/store/...idproduct=3874 for $121 shipped and if you notice the pic is from a 3g eclipse v6. Even though it states that it will only fit the I4 it will work on the v6.

It looks like they had to use some washers on that car in the pic above, so you might have to do that to make it fit. You should be fine though.

just remember if you ever swap from the 6g72 to either the 6g74 or 75 it will most likely not fit. That is just something to keep in mind.

This is from the review written on that site by the owner of the car in the picture

Due to the size difference of the intake plenum on a 6cyl, you will need to put a few washers on each stud prior to mounting the bar so it gains another 1/8 inch of clearance to fit.
