Very nice. You should invest in a new air filter.

Looks good, but can it be called a cold air intake, when it is mounted in top in the engine bay? I would not say that filter get much cold air....

Does sound good...weird thing is reving my v6 at idle with just the maf adapter and cone filter, it doesn't sound as aggressive as yours. You can hear the initial suction of air but the sound fades off quick as the throttle opens more. But actual driving, that's a different story. Sounds like a beast. Best thirty something dollars I've spent on my galant so far. Pretty sure it helped in mpg too because, my gas hand doesn't drop nearly as quick as before. I think thats pretty good considering I keep my foot on the gas more to hear the intake, but burning less guess than before too. Seems like a win win situation lol.

Something clean Is it just me or is your air filter kinda dirty? Youd be amazed how much power you will release out of your car, when you change from a clogged filter to a new one.

K&N makes a pretty good re-usable cone filter.

Just becareful how much you oil it. My old nissan threw a code for intake air temp sensor after I cleaned and oiled my injen filter. I just eventually went with a dry filter to avoid oiling period. Think its better on my maf, and since the galant has a maf too, I went with injen/amsoiol dry filter again

ya i know , i got a friend who killed his MAF sensor by improperly cleaning and too much oiling his filter , that's why i rarely oil it and if i do , its min .
