Best price for a 2001 SE?

It looks like 22,986 is invoice price for a 2011 SE and there is a factory rebate of $3500. Is that about the best deal I could expect on a new Galant? My mother is looking at one so the previous buyer rebate wouldn't apply.

Thanks for the info. The 17k price is the invoice minus the $3500 rebate. My Mom liked the features the car had but wasn't impressed with the ride or the 4 cylinder engine. We drove the same car in a used V6 model and she liked it better in both areas. It was an 09 with 26,000 miles for $14,000. It didn't have the GPS though which she wanted. She wants to look at other cars too. We looked at a 2010 Mazda 6 which listed for $5000 more than the 2011 Galant and was equipped similarly.
