Rear left window won't go up

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a 2001 Galant ES for my 17 year old son. It came with it's share of problems, but that's ok for a first car. I am tyring to work on his rear left window. He has reported that it works intermittently from both switches (driver's door and rear door). In my tests, I am always able to put the window down but not up from the rear door. I took the door panel off 90% and then tested again. Both switches were 100% good. I put the door back on, and the problem returned. Now I have the panel off and the window down. How do I get the window up? I can worry about fixing the power portion later. I just can't get the window up. I have tried pushing and pulling, but it won't budge. Please help out a Mitsubishi rookie. Thanks.

I put the panel back on and tried the window 20 minutes later. It went up. Maybe it's the switch. I will try swapping the switches on the back doors to see if the problem follows the switch.
