    Wastegate solenoid options

I'm using egr solenoid as a wastegate solenoid, so I was wondering what would the 3 port solenoid do to help and if anyone else is running a wastegate solenoid, I think you can do load or gear based boost

    I'm using a evo ecu

The wastegate is activated by positive boost levels and the EGR is activated by vacuum. IDK if that matters to you.
God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.

the 3 port controls boost a little better because it doesnt bleed like a 2 port. The 2 port opens to release some boost to not allow the wastegate to open up early. The three port if i remember right allows the air to bypass via two ports back to the intake and then switches to allow full boost to hit the wastegate. Its supposed to allow better control. Any solenoid like that will work but wastegate solenoids have specific duty cycles that you have to tune to get the solenoid to work right. Its difficult to use the evo ecu to tune with the wastegate.

i think the tephra mod v7 is able to tune the solenoid, but figuring out how to get tephra v7 to work is something else,

The evo ecu always had that ability from stock. They just improved it a little
