    V6 Exhaust

Look, I'm really sorry if this is already a thread I searched I really did, has anyone found a cat-back exhaust for the V6s because I saw G-Spots thread where he used the I4 and had to do cutting and whatnot and I really was trying to not have to do it.

You could use the magnaflow fron the 00-05 eclipse. V6 and I4 are the same catback part number. Some modification needed. Or go with the megan, they make one for the galant.

Yeah Megan is a direct fit for the galant.
Magnaflow you need the eclipse one. Is a little shorter so you need to add some piping on the resonator and on the muffler.
I have the magnaflow and it has a nice deep tone. Not raspy

This modification is the same one I stated on the how-to thread. Unless you have drive an i4 you need to extend the piping in order to fit V6 8G's

Anybody know a rough estimate on how much a shop would charge to install a cat converter and full cat back?

Actually, What would happen if I just did a converter delete? No, Arkansas doesn't have any emissions to pass.

Just use a threaded plug where the O2 sensor hole if there is one. I can't remember if there is one or not and as far as the delete, you will need more piping and have flanges added to each end.

I can take a picture of the pipe I made to delete the cat if you want an idea of what you will need to do.

No, It does not fit, the piping direction is different.

I have the Greddy Evo2 exhaust on my V6 5-speed. It would have been easier to just have one custom made for the car.. It does sound amazing though with the megan headers..

So are megan headers or obx headers for 3.0 eclipse direct bolt-on to our stock exhaust. For the time being I just plan to put on a muffler I ordered on the stock piping. Don't plant to invest to much like I did on my last cars exhaust. 2 exhausts later I probably spent close to a G on. No serious engine plans later nor 5speed swap so its kinda like what's the point lol.

No it's not. Just to clear up some things: the Eclipse exhaust will fit on the Galant, it just needs to be extended by a ft or so before the canister. A lot of people went this way, including myself.
