Ok, lets also work out a backup plan for food. I just got word today that I might be sent (for work) to Dallas on 6/19 and I wont be back until 7/3. In this case, I would obviously miss the meet, but if im bringing the food, thats a problem.

lets not panic. there are other people who said they would be bringing food. can we get more food bringers?

a few people can stop by the supermarket and pick up $10 worth of burgers on the way here and it would be enough food.

Ive lost count of how many TGC meets Ive had to flake on. It seems as if Im just doomed to never attend another meet. Sad thing is, I cant attend the meet because of a Honda Civic I purchased.

I bought a 96 Civic DX (Hatchback) to alleviate the pains of paying nearly $1100/month in expenses for my Charger. But now it seems as if Ive gotten myself even further in the ditch. The Civic has a dropped cylinder. Its only firing on 3 of 4. It seems to be losing compression. And burns oil out the exhaust like its nobodys business.

Im thinking it might be piston rings. And hopefully Ill be able to have it fixed ASAP. But for now, no TGC meet for me. :(

My grandfather loaned me his Rav4 for a couple of months. So that should definitely ease my financial woes. So Im pretty sure I can swing the $100+ to go down.

Guys, I will know for sure 100% by saturday afternoon ( 6/18 ) if im going to Dallas or not, if im not going, I can get the food as planned, and some people can just throw me some $$$ like last year.
