compatible Trannys

I got the 00" gtz .. 3 L 6 cyl..

What trannys are compatible with this car?

From What i was told for some reason a certain Sebring or something had a compatible tranny? Wtf...

I just thought other 8g v6 galants trannys could be used..

if you're talking about the 5 speed swap, there is a 5 speed swap thread. If you're talking about either A/T or M/T, then I guess here is a list that I can remember

Dodge Stratus R/T
Chrysler Sebring 3.0L
Mitsubishi Eclipse 3.0L

In theory, the Diamante 3.5L transmission and the Mitsubishi 3.8L Galant and Eclipse transmissions should bolt up.. but I don't know how everything else will fit.

I don't know if there's different transmission configurations, but the 6g72 was used in a lot more cars that just Mitsubishi.

Many Chysler cars (non-truck, non-jeep) with a v6 option used this engine, their mini-vans did as well. Hyundai used it in some of their cars also.
