    Spark Plugs and Wire Sets

    2 Part Question :

1- Do platinum / Iridium spark plugs give even a tiny amount of MPG or Performance , or just longer life ?

2- I Have a 2.0L 4g63 SOHC Engine , and I'm looking to replace its Spark Plugs Wire Sets as mine are kinda Loose and chopped , do i need a specific kind of wires or can i just pick up 4 wires from NGK ?

    Much appreciate your help ;)

Best plugs to use for any import model would be NGK IMO. I don't really think platinum is going to be a noticeable increase over standard but it's your money. So, if you wanna take a shot go ahead. As far as the wires, the best for your money would be Magnecor.

Get the NGK G-Power plugs (Platinum) with the NGK wires and replace the valve cover gasket / spark plug tube seals as needed. Pt and Ir does offer a performance benefit. Will you notice it on a stock 4 banger? Maybe, maybe not. Will it be better for your engine? Yes.
