    Well time for an update...
thought i should post a history lesson since i found some pics of my old car

this is my first car its Isuzu Trooper 3.0TDI me and my dad (my dad mostly) bought it when i was 15 or 16yo for about 2.500 usd from a insurance company. it was pritty well banged up on the front probably drove into a ditch

i got it to look like this you can see a big gap that is not supose to be there where the fender meets the bumper.. (btw my dad used to call it a girls car since it is pritty low for a jeep here in iceland its on 35"btw)

when i had driven my smooth runing sweet drivering car for exectly 3 months the engien burnd out the oil pickup broke and it didnt get oil i got a new engine for about 600usd took about 3 months to get the money and put it in in the meanwhile i was driveing my moms 96 2door camry LE the only one of its kind in iceland and pritty rare in the whole world becoz its a manual from the factory. she treats it like crap she cant drive for shit hits everything thats in her way:S
when i got my jeep runing it had endless problems i was always changeing something so i put it for sale and got a tradein for a the galant im on now but i would have sold the jeep for about 2300usd but the galants estemated value was 7700usd so i decided that was the best offer i could get.

today i waxd the car and tyres and ofc the rims... the rims are beat up but look way better clean(er)

    Lots of picz:P

BTW behind the car in the last few photos there is a 21 store glass tower... its the highest tower in iceland LOL and i think only the top 6 floors and the bottom 2 are being used because of the economy.. and thx if u read this all.. just wanted to post it

i was thinking of buying lowering springs and shocks
ive got a 4inch gap at the front and 2.5inch gap at the back what do u guys recommend buying ? and no i cant afford coil-overs or air suspension. and keep in mind this is a daily.

Search around for other G's with teins so you can see how yours will look like with them, also you can check other brands like Progress and H&R if you would like to go a little lower than with teins.

Sad news hit a curb i guess its true what they say... "slippery when wet"

i guess im "lucky" only the bumper is fkd up..

I managed to fix the dents

now on to putting the cracks back together

i got them as good as i was able to do and then sanded everything with 40grit sand paper.
Im going to use fiberglass mend it
as you can see i decided to do a little mod while im at it. I removed the mesh from the bumper.

    fiberglassed both sides

this is how it look now

Im letting the fiberglass heal overnight then i will be puting some filler
im also going to get the "american number plate" which is basically a more rectangular number plate

Ill post an update tomorrow )

Too much work for a stock bumper lol. Would be easier to buy another or get one from the JY. Perfect opportunity to go JDM front bumper as well =) Glass doesn't always have to be half empty.

search for a JDM bumper found one and it was WAY too expensive for the state it was in (it would have needed some fiberglassing aswell) and it was missing the fogs, buying a jdm from over seas is also way to expensive for me since im a student can barely afford my insurance payments.

My plan for the car as of now is to make it look good and fix the two SES codes it has (oxygen sensor and evap system gross leak) then sell it and get a JDM v6 galant... or a supermoto i really want supemoto for the summer

Ohh, I forgot you were in Iceland. Yea just buy the jdm v6 galant =)

System gross leak might be a rusted out gas neck (common for people here in northern US).

ok thanks for that "hint" i will definitely start there

As for the JDM Galants it seams as tho they are more prone to rust and brake down. at least here i have a couple of friends that repair cars for a living and they are always telling me storys about what bullshit they had to do on a jdm or eudm galant and are amazed that mine always gets me from A to B and its almost rust free
