    how much psi can i run???

    im in the middle of the dohc swap (evo head) and i want to run turbo but i don't know how much psi i can run safely 7-9 psi?? stock block.....

    To be on the safe side thats about right. Some members are running 15 psi with no problems. are you A/T or M/T?

    he said stock block, i'm guessing stock internals.

    ....evo head+stock pistons+boost=boom? at least ive heard the evo head brings the cr way up not sure i know the sonata head brings it down to 8.5:1

    On other forums... over 6 psi and stock internals and tears are formed on people's faces but it takes a while..

    I have a Fully stock motor and boosting 17psi on Daily for 30k miles.
    2.4L - AWD - 5SPEED - PTE 6057 at __PSI w/Wavetrac LSD

    he said FULLY stock evo head has a much smaller chamber with the sonata ive been boostin 20+psi daily with no issues.

    real question is what turbo are you running? That will tell you how much psi you should run

    1996 galant s
    finishing up my 2.4L DOHC, 10.5:1, precision sc60, meth injected MONSTER.

    What do you get so much better with a different head unit?

    lol its not a head unit its the cylinder head on the engine and the only real difference between the heads are the cc's of the combustion chambers and the heads internals which can be swapped between the 2.
