Is this price ok to have all 4 shocks installed?

I was quoted $580 (out the door) to replace all 4 shocks/struts, labor and alignment at this local shop.

    Is this a good price?

BTW, the shocks would be KYB GR2

Good deal, if only u have lowering springs to give them, you'd be set with alignment too.

Thanks guys. No, unfortunately I have no more money for some lowered springs

Should hold off on the shocks for a minute to scrounge some more coin. I picked up Tein springs from Coop's Customs for under $200 to my door. You'd save all that labor cause their already taking them out.

some people just want their car to be stock.

    The price sounds fair.

Wow only that much for front and rear struts...

At Springs Auto and Truck in Colorado Springs they charged me about $2000 (for stock replacement) or more to replace mine when I took my car in to get inspected.............. that was before I found out about this forum... I don't go to that shop anymore though.

if you want to save more money, you can find someone to do it yourselves.

    KYB GR2: 200+tax
    Alignment: 80
Beers + Some cash for labor for friend: 85

total comes out to about about 365+the tax lol

it depends where you live. In LA, i had them installed at a shop for $160. Got the KYB's locally for $210. Try amazon.com or shox.com, (or do a google search on the part number) + alignment usually cost $60

I've seen craigslist posting for shock install as low as $80, but don't know if they can be trusted though.
