i put red LED bulbs in my gauge cluster and got euro gauges on ebay. the needles would be red and everything was covered by the gauges so it was a red/blue combo. to just get the needles red, you'd have to paint them, but you'd lose some brightness

it's this flexible plastic layover. it has the same texture as photograph. very flexible and doesn't kink when you put it in. i got it on ebay from "fire and ice motorsports". it looks like they dont have any for sale right now. shoot them an email if you want it.Originally Posted by vr_v6

why would you be forced to get the white gauges? i think it would look better with the oem gauge faces imo.Originally Posted by vr_v6

IntelliGlow Needle Kits
Import Intelligence has developed a new and innovative way of creating the ultimate custom look to any set of gauges. We have developed a low profile carbon fiber powered light ring that sits underneath the stock needles. With this 80% universal kit (more details later), the options are endless here and we like to explore every aspect of the concept of custom gauges. Indiglow can catch the eye very well but a piece of the gauge cluster that is not only brighter but also moving can really attract much needed attention. If you are tired of the Indiglo look, these are for you. New technology has made all this possible without major modification to the cluster. These kits are custom built to order so please allow a few days from time of order for shipping. All Kits come with a detailed instruction manual to help make your cluster the hottest on the block.
The IntelliGlow needle kits will require 2 things to work with your vehicle.
1. Your vehicles gauges must have needles made of a Lexan based material. If you are not sure we have included an application chart at the bottom of this page for assistance. We do not provide new needles with the kit so the factory needles must be compatible.
2. Your vehicle must run on a 12 volt system with a negative chassis.
i dont think they're that bad, just really overpriced, and it's something you can achieve with $5 LEDsOriginally Posted by Qnzfinestplaya

Here is the intelliglow needles over white, like you were saying you wanted.
Hi!
After seeing this thread, i started to paint my interior too, i just finished it.
I have painted my gauges and needles too, i scratched off the original white paint and painted only the back off the needles red. And their still very bright this way!
hi.. i've been looking for LED's for 7G gauges.. But I don't know what to use? i wanna replace all the white/yellowish bulbs to red or blue LED's...
The led #s are 194 and the smaller ones are 74 the 74s are harder to find than the 194 but they are on ebay or you could also try
