    Rocker hitting the valve cover. Why?

    What would cause a rocker to jump so high as to put a wear spot in the valve cover?

    Bump, took the cover off again, looks like it may be getting worse, there's shiny spots on the exhaust rocker. Also I have torn my new valve cover gasket it appears.

    You can see where the rocker is hitting. Also there appears to be the beginnings of the one to the left doing it also now. (Pictures above are from a few months ago)
