    01 galant gtz v6 coolant temp sensor

    Can't seem to locate the coolant temp sensor. I keep getting a check engine light on for the sensor also the temp gauge does not work. however; when you have the car running and clear the light with the scan gauge then the temp gauge seems to work fine again until the light pops back on and its back to not working.

    Just follow the upper radiator hose towards the engine. The sensor resides in that coolant manifold.
