    7g Shifter/LED Wiring Question

I've acquired some LED strips, and i plan to use them for the interior floor lighting in my car. I have the 7G shifter, and i'd like to use the OD button to turn the lights on/off.

How do i do this? How should i wire it? I plan on tapping into the cigarette lighter power wire. Since it's already a fused circuit, should i add a bigger one to compensate for the extra draw, or just add an another in-line fuse?

Get a meter and measure for continuity between the wires, once you have that I'll elaborate. Here's Mine wired to the doors as they open and close. Bonus Glovebox with Pin too. They look kinda blue they are really between 5000k and 6000k white.

Meter it, find out what wire is what, its just an on off switch, so its going to work, LEDs do not draw that many amps or current, and they use very little power. I had underglow LED kit I left on for about 14 hrs, car started right up. You shouldn't need a bigger fuse, if your going off the cig lighter

Oh yeah I know! I've left my dome lights on (2 led boards) and my car was fine the next day
