    Best Wheel For 8g

My goal with this thread is to give new members an idea of what looks good on the 8g to give them a general picture to work off of.

*This is not a post of pic of your own wheels thread, just post what you think looks great, although if that includes your own wheels....I can't be mad at that lol*

Please post what kind of wheel and sizing as well (any drop information if you have)

    Ray's G-Games Sidewinders 18x7.5 +48 on Tein S-Tech/GR2

    BBS RG-R 17x8 +40 on Same suspension

SSR Type C iirc they're 19x8.5 +32 or near that

    Weds SA70M 18x8.5

    On the less expensive end:
    9g Ralliart/Eclipse 4g GT wheels

    Evo 8 Enkei

    Evo X MR BBS 18x8.5 +38

EDIT: I guess I exceeded bandwidth, my first two pics will show in a week lol

Question! Do the 9G Ralliart/4G Eclipse wheels allow for Brembo's? Love the look, but want to upgrade them brakes.

No they don't, you could probably use spacers to gain the clearance, I don't know what size you'd need offhand. My guess it around 15mm

I wish, having trouble finding them near me. Found some 9G Ralliarts for cheap, but still considering. I lost out on the Infiniti G35 seven spokes a guy was selling, I know the Brembo's fit them.

Get the Ralliarts, you don't need the Evo brembos unless you're doing some SERIOUS tracking. AutoX your stock brakes (with new fluid/pads/rotors) will be fine, or you can go two piston from 99-01 (?) V6 Galant (with the same additions).

    Just remember this:

your car will only stop as quickly as your tyres allow you.

Tyres are the key to breaking, so if you're upgrading the brakes, upgrade the tyres too

ahh now I see it. The pic didn't show up when I first brought up the thread.

the gsx lookalikes make a good wheel from a 3g. Actually the only good 3g wheels. Otherwise the actual 2g gsx wheels are worth getting as well.

huh? it's one of the the most popular stock wheel upgrades in our community, especially if the swap to EVO brakes is planned.

Good condition one's are not that easy to come by these days. Especially with alot of 1G-3G Eclipse's using them as an upgrade for wheels too. But there are still a decent number of members here with them...
