    If you are bottoming out on every little bump or hole, then yes cut them a little so the shock/strut has a little more travel. On my previous suspension I didn't and sometimes I would bottom out and hear that solid sound on the front struts.

    I was hearing some noises on the drivers side so i checked ans the dude that installed shocks and springs left the sway bar loose

    That should pick it up a bit. And Holy Crap, I'd hate to trust him with suspension work.
