Here's some more pics for you guys!

    My truck

    Pre paint

    My old Camaro

    My old Tiburon

Working on these vehicles has taught me A LOT. Hopefully I can apply some of that knowledge to the Galant.

@ keith, there is a 20% chance a Tiberon will make its way into my garage, and if it does, I can tell you exactly where it is going, into a state filled with farmland where my brother goes to college

Thanks for the link. About the Tib, i built her up - custom turbo kit, etc, dropped her down - megan racing lowering springs, eibach sway bars. Then messed around with it in general stuff like LSD in the front, 245-45-17's and was actually sponsored to AutoX it by a company called North Georgia Performance. But i soon got bored of her, there was only so much i could do, so i decided to sell.

Yeah I have a good knowledge base when it comes to working on cars!

    AutoX with my Tiburon
    Drag strip with my Camaro
    Offroading with my 4Runner

I honestly LOVED my Tiburon, i'd recommend you stay away from an 03' though, they had clutch problems, i.e. a lot of clutches burned out after 20,000mi even if they were broken in properly and not driven hard. I solved that problem with a ClutchMasters Stage 3 Unsprung Hub clutch.

Yeah she is OK right now, it will take a lot of work to get her where i want. Glad to see someone else is up there in mileage with me.

What's this I always hear about trans problems? I have 262K on my trans and it shifts like it has 10K on it. The fluid is nice and red, guess i'm just lucky?

There were 200 made for the 1999. It wasn't an option or anything. They were all DE's aka base models with the 4g64

ah, ok, but for a car like the GTZ (the 'sport' trim), wouldn't it make sense for there to at least be the option of a manual?

then goes on to search for a manual DE........
