Oh I completely agree its more than good enough for the Fit, but compared to what a purely fun car will have they greasy

Click the pic of the box for pics of the wheels haha

No boost or slamming for this. Building it to be the epitome of fun DD (IMO of course) and once finished I'll move onto a more in-depth project.

What do you mean electric clutch?

  4. #84
oh duh lol I knew that. Nice wheels!

Well my buddys clutch has no feel to it at all, its like pushing the brake pedal, nothing there. its hard to explain. ok your pedal isn't actualy pushing fluid or linkage, its sending a signal to the soleniod to disengage the clutch

Yeah its not nearly as nice as the clutch feel in my old Si, but nothing competes with a nice cable clutch IMO.

    Also, new stickar

They have that, a clutch-by-wire, in a car? What kind of car is that? How do you feel for the engagement point? That seems very unfun. Just like my parents' drive-by-wire in their Ford, you feel nothing at all, it's weird.

Honda actually puts electric power steering and drive by wire in the Fit, new Civics, etc.

    It really is quite good.

    Testing the sig quick.

Verdict = Meh, could be better, don't care enough to change. Now no one can complain about my current car not being in the pic.

An update for once. This update isn't everything I've bought, some stuff is in transit, some stuff I'm waiting for the seller to get a shipping quote so I can send him the exact amount, etc. More in the coming weeks.

I saw somewhere that skunk2 buys from eibach...true??

    Probably not. Junk2 is trash.

My guess is the appearance of the springs is an attempt to make people think that, but in reality they're cheap China springs.

If you really feel ya way why do you want them on your car? I mean I have D2s and you've bashed D2s before so why buy cheap stuff for your car? Just curious.lol

All lowering springs are trash IMO. That's why.

However I have zero desire to kill any of my comfort with coilovers. Thus, I got something cheap so if I decide to go back to stock I can sell for what I paid (or more).

Yeah I can understand that. But honestly I like the ride of coilovers better than stock. But that's just me.

That's what you think until you have the coilovers I've had, or until you get a car with fresh stock stuff.

For a DD, you're better off with just springs.
