    Hella air horn problem??

Hey guys. I tried to install my Hella dual air horns today. When I went to start up my car to test them, they went off when I turned my key. I have tried many different things to fix it, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge on how to fix this?

you obviously wired it wrong. Sounds like you used the power on the ignition instead of somewhere else. I'd start with how you have it powered and work backwards

I looked over the directions and even rewiring it a couple of times. It is plugged into the power source from the old horn.

Get a meter and test the wire.

yeah thats a little weird. Any luck? I still say its a wire issue, loose, grounding out, or just wired wrong somehow

No luck. Took air horns out and put stock horn back on until i have more time to try to install them again. I will let you guys know what the problem was if I get them working.
