I think they sell the plug n plays, just depends which you get. I know when I got to the parts store and ask for one they always ask universal or direct fit, only difference wire yourself or plug it up.

BTW this read was plenty for me to look out for Denso 02's and drop the Bosch ones altogether.

Chris, do you know if the sensor is easy to replace on the V6, i feel like that is an issue with a lot of people when trying to sell my G.

From what I've seen from working on 6G72 powered Galants, Diamantes, and Eclipses...it's fairly tight. On top of needing the special O2 sensor socket, but you'll need flex joints and extensions with your ratchet. Leverage and PBlaster will be your best friends. The front you can get from the top, IIRC, and have a long pipe handy that will fit over your ratchet. It'll make life 10x easier.

The back manifold...ack, I think you need to get at it from underneath, the UIM blocks access.

I'd take the time to learn the basics of car repair/maintainence. It can save you a lot of money, and pick out BS from shops.

I know on the Diamante the top (upstream) sensors were fairly accessible without removing anything, the G is a little different but it looks like it could be done without removing anything. I have a pic of the D somewhere but I don't have one of the G.

A Haynes manual and this forum have gone a long way with what I feel I could do under the hood. In 20K more miles I'm gonna change my timing belt for the first time, I think I can do it. Doing the tune up on the D showed me it's not that hard to work on these V6's, so I'm gonna try it.
