Two piece 8G headlights...work with 02-03 USDM front clip?

I searched, but didn't find anything. I apologize if there was a source I didn't see though. lol

Is there anyone that has even tried using the two piece headlights from the European 8Gs on the USDM's? Just want to know before jumping on a potential deal. You guys are always helpful, so thanks in advance!

i know ive seen this discussed over the years. i think its the same as the jdm headlights. you will need a different grill for them to fit. here is a picture i found and if you search, you will find some more information.

2pc, 1pc, same shit, regular JDM grilles fit too, i've installed 1pc and 2pc jdm heads on 8gs as well as using new style, old style grilles with them

I'm sticking with the 8Gb USDM grille, so trimming will be done.

I haven't seen any other USDM Galants with the two piece headlights currently on the forums, but it's good to know it's the same deal as JDM heads. Awesome. :D

some of the OG members had 2pc, back when we had a EU connect we were able to get some, same with the 2pc 7g heads, the 1pc JDM heads are easier to come by now-a-days

1 piece and 2 piece are not only limited to europe. remember pretty much everything that they got in europre they got in japan first; (2 piece mostly pfl, 1 piece were fl). other countries in asia also had 2 piece heads... philippines had 2 piece w/ full, bulging amber corners for example on their pfl models.
