Well time for some more updates..
been very busty with other work and so Iv had to slow down on this...
anyhow the bumper mold is made and the first article is getting laid up tomorrow.
So now I finally own a bumper mold for the rear of the legnums....
    custom bumper times now lol..

And as you can see there's no shortage if factory detailing so if I sell them on the owners will be happy knowing that it'll be factory like..

and next I have my secret weapon..... That is yes a Ferrari bumper. Customer brought it to me for repairs and a mold of the diffuser under section..
so now I have all I need to complete the rear under section now..
Im pulling the article from the mold tomorrow so in the next week ill have an idea and pics

Well guys I was fortunate enough to spend 3 days solely on my own project this week so here we are....
ive fully finished the tonneau cover and just have round the sail capping to do.

So now all that's left majority is the wide body pretty much..All major steelwork is complete hope y'all like the update

Ok so I've been lucky enough to spend a week on it and 90% was spent on welding, welding and more welding..

i can lightly say that the body is all done. YES ALL DONE!
    just traling left to do..
the widened guards sit a massive 50mm further out than the stock guard and clears a 255/45/18 with a 9.5" rim on a red offset without rolled guards.

if I want to roll the guards I can go bigger again and I can go super low as well with raised inner guard that I did too.
so now the shaping can take place and then the sailplane ..

Ok whilst the shaping is underway I am starting on the front guards and the sideskirts...
the front is a maximum of 30mm stretch out.

    Updates time boys....

unfortunately images are jumbled and not in order. Sorry......
I thought I'd inform you all a little bit of behind the scenes I go regarding this project..
whilst you see all the forward progress you DONT see the rejected progress that is involved.

just to give you a quick insight into the sale plane and wing production, it started off with a shape in my head, so I apply foam to use and sculpt it to my liking.BUT the foam failed to work in favour.

next I then clearing my head ,thought of the word "Legnum" and a light came on. And I took the wing of my work hack Legnum

    thats a joke picture lol..
    back on topic

so I started chopping it up and pasting to see and get it to work.. But nope wasn't working good enough for me..

scratch head and start again. PAPER out and scissors(back to basics)
and remembering what I Invisioned whilst with failure attempt 2

    and we have this!!!

If you look close enough you will see the back quarter light window shape in the quarter windows..

The side capping slots into the wing wich you can't see until I disassemble and weld up so basically I had to double skin everything round the wing.

the wing will bolt to the bulkhead
the side capping will bolt to the wing on the inside faces of the capping.
aswell as on the inside faces of the body areas.
so I can remove the capping and wing to replace or remove all windows

Tomorrow the LH side gets fabbed.
