TireRack recommends 215/45-17, I'm not really a tire expert so which one should I get?

Those will be just fine, they will make your car sit a bit lower and the profile will be slightly smaller. IMO 225/45/17 the way to go. More wide = better grip on corners. Not to mention you will be running 8" wide wheels, 215's will stretch.

Ok I just want to make sure they won't rub.

Nay, after looking at beam's pics I decided to get the same tire size.

So I was wondering how hard would it be to install a diamanté intake manifold, or is it even worth since it's daily driven?

The Diamante mani isn't that bad to do. The one I did last week took a few hours and that was because I re-routed the whole vacuum setup from scratch.

Might be something I'll do in the future, but the next thing I'm going to do is drop it. I drive the Galant to school everyday and there's some big potholes here in Iowa. I want something that will make the front gap lower or make it even with the back and I don't want to be scraping my bumper every time I enter the driveway. Any suggestions?
