5spd speedo fix

i have recently put a 5spd in my 02 gtz and i trying to figure out how to fix the speedo im sure this has been talked about before but ant help would be good

well here is another question do i need any extra parts to get my speedo to work? my 5spd is from a 2000 eclipse gt there are onle two plugs on the tranny i know one is for the reverse not sure on the other

the other is for your speedo lol. Put up pics or give us some details on why you can get your stock plug in wont work. I was pretty sure I just removed my wires from the auto and pushed it onto the manual sensor. Works fine for me.

Maybe you need to turn your connector around? If all else fails. just put your auto sensor in, the sensor in your M/T may be bad.

I'm unfamiliar with the 02 stuff but mine just plugged right in. I had an extra little pigtail that I removed though (not cut or anything, just disconnected).

02-03 doesnt have speed sensor wiring on the harness at the transmission, u have to make ur own, there is a thread made by Cali that begins to talk about what is needed, after that, whitegalant's thread has the rest of info

Search bro this has been figured out,
this tells you what wire is signal, power and ground on your m/t connector

post 210 which tells you to connect to what, and get a fsm, that will help you

Real quick guys I have white, yellow, and black on my speedo...im guessing yellow is for the 12v power and black is ground right?
