    QnzMostWanted's 1992 Galant GS 5SPD

    hey guys here's the GS, finally brought her home and snapped some pics...not sure what the plans are as yet, but I will post here as I get on with her...
    spent $400 on her

    first things first is to clean her up

    thanks, needs some TLC and a paintjob, and minor mechanical issues, nothing i cant fix, but I plan on building it up

    yeah pretty comfy, i was gonna swap to an evo 8 interior but these seats are immaculate, so ima keep them...i wanna convert the seatbelts to normal ones tho, the power ones suck lol

    paint, drop, rims, 5lug swap, full exhaust jdm front, vr4/amg sides and rear, and thats about it for now, ima boost her in the future but not while she's gonna be a DD

    well day 1, cleaned out the interior and jacked up the front to see whats going on with the transmission, turned out theres a small crack on the block causing the transmission to move away from the flywheel, so im planning on pulling the entire engine and transmission, gonna do a rebuild on the engine, gonna decide when tearing it down if im going to boost or not...might just do a NA build cuz the car will be a DD

    started to remove the engine wiring harness and prep the car to have the engine pulled
    all thats left is to remove the fuel line, axles and drain the oil and coolant and its ready to pull



    broken studs :( gotta love people who put on wheels with too much torque

    debating on 5lug conversion

    Broken studs should be enough motivation for the swap.

    decided not to do much today in the heat, just removed the exhaust, disconnected the AC and the PS from the engine, gotta get the axle socket tomorrow and im ready to pull the engine
