General Auto wiring and electrical info

I have posted this before, but in general this site has helped me to understand everything about my galant and other cars i have worked on. So I think any newbs that have questions might be able to use this.
Most of these links are from a series called How to electronically modify your car. But these are only a fraction of the info this site ha. www.autospeed.comI use it a lot.

Relays, what they are and how to use them

Very helpful write-up on relays. I took several electrical engineering classes but we never covered relays, and wikipedia wasn't very helpful last I recall.. though the last time I looked it up was before I took those electrical classes.

I go to Cal Poly. I'm an Aerospace engineer so our main focus isn't electronics.

First one was a beginner's class about circuits: KCL, KVL, node voltage, thevenin/norton, DC, AC, transformers, capacitors, etc.

Second one was a more advanced "electronics" class: transistors, diodes, op-amps, rectifiers, analog-digital conversion, binary and hexadecimal representations, etc., and how to understand, interpret, and calculate their function in circuits.

Learning about relays would probably fall in some area between those two classes, because the second is a fairly high level class and focuses on digital circuitry, where you would never really need a relay since it is for high powered applications.
