Just thought I 'd share some pics from my weekend vacation. I stayed at the Gaylord National Hotel at the National Harbor in MD outside DC. This is a nice little destination for conventions, shopping, relaxing, dining out, etc. Very chill crowd, rather upscale, so the hoodrats and hooligans can't afford to chill there, dinner for two can easily get up to over $100 at some of the restaurants.

Our room, we spent about $550 for two nights, but got upgraded to this room that probably costs that much for one night for free:

I thoroughly enjoyed doing absolutely nothing but eating and sleeping in luxury this weekend, I need to do that more often.

Beautiful hotel! My fiance stayed in a GayLord Hotel in Texas last year and he said it was a great hotel! Nice pictures. Looks like you had a great time. I agree, everyone should take time out and get away even if its somewhere cheap just to regroup and relax! I hardly slept this passed week and feel more relaxed than ever. Hope you had fun!!
