No I'm serious LOL, on GM's like, Lumina Sedans and similar Buicks and Oldsmobiles you hit the key once and it's tricky to know when to let go so it don't grind. 98-03 Ford Trucks and Suv's sound like the starter is gonna blow up.

Am I the only one who notices? LOL. I like the winding sound of the G's starter. I dislike early 90's Honda Accord and Civic too.

It's one of those weird things I notice I guess...

You're not alone, Older GM's sound bad in my opinion too, like they're choking when they start. Mine whines so beautifully, and if you leave the key cranked too long, the motor just bogs down, it doesn't grind. The Diamante has a very quick, quiet crank up, it's beautiful. And yep, without looking you can identify a Ford V8 starting.

Only problem I see is one accident back in 04. Maybe I can talk him down when no one bids on the car after bidding ends, 185k is a lot of miles.

I would make it a evo replica (spoiler, black euro tails, possibly throw the 16g turbo on if it doesn't sell lol.)

But I think I'm just going to go with the galant on ebay like you are suggesting. It's clean and local. I messaged the guy about the accident and he said it was a rock truck that broke the windsheild and a few other drivers as well, so that's what was reported. Seems pretty straight forward, I'm just going to watch the bid, If I win, i'll be getting it this weekend.

Going to be fun driving my galant down to pick up another. The owner of the red one will probably shit bricks lol.

Hm those are some pretty cool ideas with the lancer if you got it.Why dont you just go look at the galant and make him an offer?

264k miles, but take a look anyway. I just texted him and just said, what's the lowest you'll take. He had said $1500, 0 accidents and no dents.

Going to drive out tomorrow and take a look.

A lot of miles right guys? Can't believe how clean this guy kept it. I figure I can do an engine/tranny swap anyday of the week, so whats to lose?
