    8g rear engine mount !geezus what a biotch!

    Anyone knowing a civilized way on replacing the rear mount on a v6?

    it's actually not that hard, but I've had to remove it a couple times. Have a buddy help you out.

    One person lies underneath the car, the other person on top. There's one bolt on top that you can reach from overhead; There are two other bolts that are on the "side" facing the front of the car, and you need to be lying on the ground. I have been able to do it without a partner but it just helps to have them looking at whats going on.

    you need a 14mm socket if I am not mistaken.

    For the top bolt, stand by the driver side fender, and have an extension that is at like 6 inches long. IF you can, try to use some sort of flex-head ratchet. I think there's a lot of things in the way to prevent you from swinging a normal rigid ratchet.

    It's do-able, tranny mount is harder IMO. Take your time and give yourself room by removing battery and intake.
