    Im back again
Summer has ended and the race season is about to start
to solve the massive wheel spin issue I reduced the power to 530 HP @ 21 PSI and the rear tires pressure to 20 PSI. Now I have no wheel spin at all

    1st Race
VS. 606 HP Stroker 100 N2O Shot Camaro SS

  2. #262
    2nd Race
    VS. SRT10 Viper
He got the lead from the beginning of the race and I nailed him just in the last seconds before the finish line

    More to come :)

This is something I thought I would never see. A 2JZ in an 8G. Great to see so many people trying to do something different with their Galant instead of taking the easy way out and just buying an Evo or Impreza that already has the turbo and power.

All in all this car is pretty cool but it will never really perform like one would think of given the connotations of a 2JZ. The rear suspension is multilink, it's made for AWD and handling and it's old technology. You're putting more power through it than it can handle, while it may not break into pieces yet the hardware is physically too small to handle it. It'll flex, move around and result in pitiful traction all the time and poor handling. Beyond that you can't get wide tires back there. 235 is too small for any car that makes power short of a go kart. Even more than that an 18" wheel doesn't support straightline traction either. You need a tall sidewall for that.

If you ever do start to hook then you'll begin breaking things. Control arms, axles, and burning up rear differentials like crazy. Evo guys break all those things with the same power at all four wheels... The fact is spinning is the only reason it hasn't grenaded yet.
I'm sure Oak knows the difference between these two cars. He is simply stating that Greddy's vehicle with half the power output can't get traction either, and with 255s! Certainly this means Samman needs more than a 235 (18" or not is irrelevant) as the R888 is a DOT competition tire. That at plenty of people use R888's in that sizing on vehicles for racing applications such as this. Samman would be better off with the Toyo Proxes TQ. But considering 315s would never have any hope of fitting any Galant on the planet, the R888 is the next best choice he can make. Unless, and only if he can fit 17s (as I don't know his brake setup) he'd be best off with the Hoosier D.O.T. Drag Radial in a 245/45R17.

As much as that is true. He is also the biggest drama queen that ever existed on this forum. He deleted every single post from this forum before he left for good. And there were hundreds of posts made by him.
