    Galant GDI performance upgrades???

    Hi Guys

Are there any performance upgrades that can be done to the galant GDI 4g93 / 4G63 engines?
My current 4G93 GDI engine is smoking so am looking to invest either in the same engine or the 4g63 GDI. Are all the parts from the 4G93 GDI and 4G63 GDI interchangeable for example fuel pressure regulator? Was also looking at
the 6a13tt swap but also studying fuel consumption might be a bit to high...

hey mate well here we go
the 93 is a good reliable version of the classic shit GDI i own 1 with almost 300000kms on clock and doesnt smoke at all..

if yo want to stick with that motor then try the likes of new intake, exhaust and good spark plugs along with a grounding kit too.
there is nothing off the shelf for these motors sorry.
not even for the 6a13tt,its al aftermarket
if you want better consumption and more power go for the Lancer CEDIA 1800 Black top GDI Turbo Motor, but the gains are only as good as the 2.4 4g64 GDI motor wich arent that great but just picks up faster thats all..
personally id just do the 6a13tt swap as long as your car is 4wd it wil lwork, fuel consumption will vary on many factors ranging from air pressure,altitude,etc.. main thing is how you drive!! 350-600kms per tank is average

Ok. I now came back from a drag event and after seeing what the evo's and subies are
doing I want to join the fun too.
Am thinking of purchasing the 6a13tt complete engine and transmission, and just
using it front wheel instead of awd. Will have a word with the mech and here what
    he says...

    Keep away from the 6A13TT.
Go for the 4g63 engine - easy to find and plenty of bolt on parts.
Even Hyundai and Kia run these motors, some I have found have forged conrods.

I ended up just buying another 4G93 GDI engine. Also bought some other
stuff to make the car a little more sporty.

Found a pair of five hole brakes for the front as well

to have one installed, but which one?

A filipino's number one dream is to own a car before anything else. In the philippines, most private car owners consider their vehicles as an extension of their home but with one differrence: a home is where his wife cooks while a car is where his girlfriend builds a fire. Hmmm...

    Sure is paradise here :)

Had a HKS dragmaster exhaust installed and painted over the Versus sesto turismo rims..
Hoping to have the car painted over before the year ends...
