    Put My Indiglo gauges in

Just wanna say thanks to everyone for the good advice and directions on installing the indiglo gauges. It was a little easier than I thought. Only thing was I connected them to the dimmer and I had very little room to try and crimp the connectors. Then before I put everything back together, I tried them out to make sure everything was working fine. Well, I noticed that when I would turn the lights on, my door locks would lock. When I turned them off they would unlock. Then I would hear a ticking sound from under the hood like a solonoid tick or something. Come to find out that because I was just testing things, I never connected the plug for the dimmer back in. After it was 3 a.m. and i had to wake up at 6 to get ready for work, I said I'll put everything back together and figure it out later. Once I plugged the dimmer connector back on the dimmer knob, everything is working A O.K. now. I love them. Just can't wait till it gets dark again so I can see them. Cuz you know everytime I passed thru a tunnel or in a underground parking lot, the lights had to come on Hope that this might help someone if you would experience the same problem.

I installed the procar guages last night..

They are a simple install.. and hey are BRIGHT.. but the control allows you to select the color and the level of brightness. (5 different for each)
I like the blue.. but I cleared my needles and put in blue bulbs.. lol so I can barely see them... so I'll be painting them red or putting my white bulbs back in today..

Also on the 2002 it sucks that the High Beam/cuise fog light indicators are still the blue/green color of the stock one piece guage.. blah!

No this isn't my first mod. But it is the first time I ever did anything as far as taking the insturment cluster out. Easier than I thought!!!I'm new to this site so I still gotta read about how to post pictures. I have a Bergundy 2k ES Galant. First mod was tinting the windows with the silver tint. Came out looking very nice and I get plenty of compliments for it. Then I hooked up the sound system. I have the Sony (M550 I believe) the one with the automatic flip down face with the controls on the backside. The face lights the indiglo blue so it goes great with the gauges. Then I put the Belagio chrome 18" rims on it. A Nokia handsfree system with a private headset mounted next to the shifter. K&N Air Filter.A muffler (I forget the brand, but I remember it was a good one :? ). And finally the gauges. I've said this before but I'll say it again. I want to keep the car luxury looking rather than sport. The muffler I like for it's performance but not the sound. It has a real deep throaty sound and makes it sound like a V6, but still don't like the sound while I'm trying to keep it luxury. Been thinking about a CAI or a short air ram. Once I learn how to post pics I will have them on.
