Seeing a G like that its just so inspirational, looks so aggressive and with everything to back it up, I would love to see peoples reaction when they hear its AWD, can't wait for videos with the proper clutch etc ;)
Next re-match Mitsubishi VS Subaru. November 19.. same place. I'm going it such much fun.
Stewi.. are you going again?

Nice, Any thoughts on what clutch your planning on going with?

Im not getting a Tilton Carbon/Carbon, im getting a cerametallic. The cerametallic is about $1700. The PTT is about $1500 and holds 700 ft lbs at the flywheel. The tilton holds 800. I honestly had it down to Tilton, PTT, Competition Clutch (the new version) and Exedy Triple. They are all in the same ballpark price wise, the next issue is rebuild costs. The exedy is about $900 to rebuild, the Tilton about $650, the PTT about $550, the CC about $550. I know a few guys daily driving the Tilton and they are fine with it. The Quarter Master is still lingering too, but I really want to drive cars with a few of these clutches first. The new 8 leg quartermaster looks promising.

havnt saw numbers like that in a 8G in a while great job man
I never saw the cheaper tilton. I know that the PTT is very good and launches great with not much pedal increase, how about the tilton?

The tilton is the best shifting twin on the market. No lockout, very little pedal effort and holds torque well. The main problem with all the multi plate clutch setups is their lifespan on the street is about 5-8,000 miles. So every year or two I would be having to drop my tranny and spend $500-800 on a rebuild. After 2 rebuilds I'd have to drop another $500 on a flywheel.

Yea I saw that. They are great clutches but almost impractical and I see many evos using them on daily drivers. My friend has to rebuild his PTT in his 1g after a year too. Too bad no single can actually hold up even when it is advertised to do so
