    New head unit/dash kit problem

just bought new head unit and the dash kit they sent me will not work. the climate controls in my car are with the 3 knobs and square buttons in between first and second knob. they sent me the newer style with three holes and 2 small holes towards the top. bag says for '04 and up but obviously it wont work for me. searching everywhere i cannot find the one that would fit my car?

    anybody else have this problem?

If you have an 04 Galant, say an ES model, You wont need a dash kit. A single DIN aftermarket stereo will fit just perfect in the space after you remove the OEM cd player. You can even use the screws to re-mount your new stereo that you took off of the OEM hardware

7g and 9g are worlds apart as far as interior trim goes.

The OEM brackets will work just fine. Just line up the mounting holes in the brackets with the holes on your new radio's chassis and it will work just fine
