Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you youngsters brought back "sick". That, IMHO, was played out back in the mid 80's with dope & fresh (and least of all, DEF). If you don't use this word, then I stand corrected. :)

NB Bilstein Sports(Jakels01?): ~$345 shipped. Offset by $150 from sold interior parts
Eibach Springs (ebay): $97. Offset by $100 from sold spoiler.

This is with a splash of gas in the car. About 1/3 tank @ 8.xx lbs per gallon for 4 ish gallons. So we are hovering just above 2000 lbs with plenty of weight to be lost still! Curly (josh) is going to be joining us for the tech day on May 11. He sounds pumped to tear up our dash. We are still rocking the heavy oem cat back which might be changed up here shortly too! Not too mention those E30 BBS wheels aren't exactly feather weights either.

Got a racing beat exhaust for free we just had to trade our stocker for it

yeah, it's not really "safety" stuff anyway
So curly came over today, along with some other friends and we cut the dash, etc, I apologize for the quality of the pics as Nial is of to ORP for a chump car race. Two custom brackets were fabbed by our friend Davey Olson, one to mount the hood release and the other to mount the blower motor control knob, lost 22 pounds and looking good, much respect to curly for dealing with the rat's nest of wiring.

Oh, and here's more of my new M3, the story on this thing will amaze you guys :)

When do we hear (read) the M3's story?

car ran flawlessly its first time out, only to die on the freeway after the alternator gave out and drained the miniscule lawn mower battery, easy fix however, total cost of project including car so far has been $1500, so don't tell me that track fun can't be had for cheap

Lazarus got the advan paint scheme, getting all the decals put on this friday courtesy of a friend with a vinyl cutting business :)
we are now maybe 1200 or so into the car including the cost of the car, just goes to show that with careful planning motorsport is accessible to all. Plans for next season are to find a used seat for it, weld in a harness bar for the wonderful harness we already have, and cut out more weight.

I feel you, I'll have the garage vary lip back on it soon once the replacement arrives, a friend of mine crashed the car and destroyed the lip.

Eddie Nakato, owner of AR auto service and driver extraordinare took our roughly $1500 total invested (including cost of car) around the track, earned some praise after he got out of the car
