Cool. When I was in high school 30 years ago, we raised the balloons. In that time was not a camcorder. Note. Up to 25 km, strong air flows. Further silence. The balloon did not rise above 30 km. Air temperature at height -70C. Balloon burst from the low temperature. To space left another 70 km.

True, I was reading the comments and they all were saying a weather ballon cannot get above 1/3 of the way to space, about 30km or 18 or so miles. In fact, one commenter said the curvature of the Earth in the video was not because they were that high but because they used a fish-eye lens (which I can't verify, so it's hearsay at this point). But either way it looked rather crazy to see them get that high.
