    Cleazy's 8G "Let's try this again thread"

So after all the hard work I put into the last 6g72 8g....I figured it's time to make a project thread...so here we go on 9/16/11 most of you know some @$$hole ran into the back of my car wit no license after doing so much work...leaving me wit literally a show car aesthetics-wise to a scrap car.

    Before

    After

As a True galant fan I couldn't let that end my fun....so 1 week later came my new project bare in mind the before and after of my last I'm ready to do it all over again.

    Before

    After

So here she is ....I never thought I could go back to such a stock car,

So the first thing I did was swap all four struts w/lowering springs,
    And whole Evo brake setup

    Then the rear window spoiler

Now I had plans on putting JDM front and rear bumpers as well as vr4 fender flares, power folding mirrors ,skirts, and my salvaged Evo VIII spoiler on. Which has been sittin around waiting to be put on.
Ordered 3rd gen JDM tails, heads, kouki grill, vogue lip, ccfl's for headlights and new HID bulbs....ballasts were still good.

And now because I can't wait anymore the painting begins....along wit an OEM carbon fiber hood (seibon)

And here are some pics of the already painted peices

First thing I did was take home the Evo spoiler side pieces and put the spoiler together as well as pieced together the mirrors.

Now today I had to decide ....paint pieces leave car ....or paint pieces and every sq in of car......jogged it in my head for awhile and said f@ck it!

Bodywork started today as well as painting of the skirts, back bumper, extns.,handles, gtz rocker panels, fender flares

Tomorrow she rolls into the booth
    Keep you posted
Much thanks to all knowledge on this forum.....taught me a lot

    >>>>>update<<<<<

Here we go all painted up
    Tomorrow piece her back together

    Update more manana

Joe!! Great progress homie, that was a damn shame about the black joint, did you salvage any of the interior?

New one is looking good so far. The nice thing about doing it all over is skipping all the unnecessary mods you may have done along the way. Although you had no choice, its something I wish I had the balls to do.

Lol...Thanks for all the support guys...yea A68 color ...about $3500... But well worth every penny...Ivory I think u might be right, not sure wether or not to do gloss black roof or carbon fiber vinyl and then lay on clear coat ...not sure if it'll work or not.
Can you size down your sig please? Thanks, Admin :)

I would go with the CF for the roof & also the front lip

I thought the black one was nice but the silver one is even more nice. I think I can say silver 8gs are the best. Well now that I think about it, white looks good too.
