04 Trunk Lid

Hey. when I pop the trunk on my 04 GTS, it literally only pops like an inch, just enough to unlock it. The lid has some weight to it, so this makes it difficult when you're carrying something heavy that you wanna put in the trunk. I was wondering if this is a common thing, and if there's a way to adjust it and have it swing open even just half way. Thanks for the help.

It is normal, I have Evo spoiler on my trunk and it is very heavy to open the trunk. unless u make custom hydraulics then it will open automatically just like BMW
